Went to the pool to take a dip and get the July sweat off of me, but it was kids/family swim time, so I waited. When family time was over I started to get into the pool and the two attendants started objecting that they had to close up right _now_! I explained the situation with the bathroom and told them to go look. Still had to beg to use the pool for a quick dip.
Cheap as chips
Nice little park. Clean facilities. Stayed there two nights on our way back home. Borders water. Located near a nice state park. Nice trails to walk. We did some geocaching while there.
Clearly a 1 star review, but I'm adding an extra star because the few people who served ice cream at a social were very friendly.
Very disappointing. Bathroom was filthy. Truly disgusting to the point I wouldn't even shower in there.
Informed the park the next morning by phone and, as requested, emailed pictures of the bathroom filth. No response to the pictures. No offer for compensation. Nothing.
Stayed 1 night, arrived after hours and had easy time paying and finding a spot. Next day walked around park and down near lake. My wife liked because of access to storm shelter.
